Happy New year!


This new year was a good one on this side of the word i hope it was good for all of you as well. we had so much good happen. ill just share a couple. 
On Sunday we got a call and it was a very ready investigator( meaning she is about to get baptized). she called and said sorry elda tilo im not going to be able to come to church. However I knew she was lying. so i called her bluff. And she came to church with a couple little miracles.  she told me after how did you know. and the only thing I could think to say was I didn't know God knew and I'm his missionary. and that was a deep feeling that God is truly using me and my companion to bless these people! the second really good thing also happened on sunday.  I promise we worked all week. On Sunday we had a lesson with a fijian family and they were hesitant. but once we spoke fijian and the spirit came in. They readily accepted the BoM and said they would ready it. That was great the God helped us speak they language. Then we went to another house that we didn't have an appointment with and we found a girl there well lady because she was about 37 and we talked about the church and missionaries. then we were able to give a spiritual thought from 3 nephi11 and able to bear testimony and know that Jesus loved us enough to die for us. not Just even for the righteous but everyone! That lady told us that she felt the spirit and knew that we were the sign from God she was waiting for. This is truly The work of God. 
The thing i've realized this new year and I pass on to all of you. Is that this world is our Heavenly father. But he needs us his sons and daughters to do our part! we need to follow the youth theme for  2020 1 nephi 3:7 'Go and Do". I know all of you aren't missionaries but God has a work for all of us all we need is faith and courage to do! I know it holds blessings. I love you all so so much my prayers are with all of you! be strong and of good courage. With Love!

Noqu yaca. Transferred from the roots to the shrub.

This was a crazy week. I've been transferred. I got transferred from nawaka (the root) to nasinu (the shrub). This was the first time I've been way sad to leave. I learned so much from my family in nawaka. They helped me grow and become the missionary that Heavenly Father needs me to be.  Now I'm in nasinu, right next to Suva. My companion is Elda Harding from Niue. It's going to be a really good transfer. I want to share a story that really touched my heart this last week. We found out that I was leaving on Tuesday and left Wednesday. So didn't have a lot of time to say good bye. The first house I went to say goodbye to was the pregnant lady I talked about last week. When we got there we found out that she had giving birth on Monday. We came and met her and found out that she named her  Danele...that's my name! (if you know the movie line you win.) Nausori for the win

This was a great week here in Fiji I hope you all had a great week as well. This week we had three of our family members enter the water of baptism on Saturday. It was the best ending to a great week!  We had so much stuff happen this week. On Thursday this week we had the opportunity to help an elderly lady in our ward. She had us "fix" her floor with reused boards and gave us one hammer and a broken shovel to do it. it was super funny and just started the fun. The next day we had exchanged with the AP's and it was way fun because both of the AP's are from my intake! so we've known each other since the MTC.  I had the opportunity to go with elder madsen and it was super fun! we went and did a lot of teaching and elder madsen is a Hindi elder so that means every fijian we teach i would take the lead.
