Quickest week in the history of the world....

Image
This week was so so fast! We had so many thing to do this week. It was crazy.  Monday started with picking up a member of the quorum of the 70. Elder Yamashita. We had to pick him up and look the best because we were the first missionaries he saw. PASSED Later in the week we had some good opportunities to serve and help our ward. We did service with Bro. Vueti, and his family I love them so so much!  Thursday this week we had to pick up elder and sister Yamashita, president and sister Higgins, and the assistance to the president. Needless to say it was a stressful car ride. Then Friday we had  mission conference it was way good but I sat in the front. So I had to do heaps in the conference.  On Saturday I went on an exchange and we went and taught a talatala. or the big boss in another church. And I was scared at first but I shared a simple message about the restoration and families. It helped me realize something really cool. Our message about the rest...

The title of the email goes to the newest member of the Swallow gang. I mentioned her last week but she helped me a lot this week, so she's the title.  This week we started by saying good bye to the HEFY group. It was way fun and sick, and kinda sad. I just hope the things they did here in Fiji will help them back home. Lots of good food, and family. I love my Fijian family. This week we did lots of finding, and found lots of cool people it's kinda bitter sweet because I may be gone when they start to progress. But the work of the Lord is true and it starts with us. I had to talk to lots of people this week about repentance and it made me realize what a true and amazing gift repentance is. We can repent and change and actually receive forgiveness! Jesus Christ truly atoned for all our sins. I know repentance works. I encourage anyone struggling to come before the Lord and truly follow him who atoned for us.  I love you all.  -Love Elda Tilo On picture ...

Kinda weird week...

This week was a really good week. This week we had lots of activities with the ward. And lots of stuff with the the HEFY group. We started this week with a family home evening with the HEFY. And we had a really good devotional and I got to  flex my Fijian on all the white kids.  After that we had a lot of good dinners with members that I love so it was really good.  This week lots of the people we were teaching asked to put the lessons on pause. It was way discouraging and I felt like I wasn't good enough. However when I feel not good enough I turn to him who has love enough for all of us.  We went out with the HEFY group and they asked me how I deal with hardships. and the answers I gave is what I want to share with Yall today. The way I deal with hardship is remember my older brother. Not Mitch or Tyler (even though they are great examples.) the older brother I think about is Jesus Christ. The power that he showed as he took all of the sins in the world...
