These past two weeks have been a roller coaster of emotion for me. it started with a very unexpected transfer call.  last transfer I got moved to the navua area. and me and elder smith worked very hard to get the work back and help the hard and that's just what we did. It was only 1 transfer but I already loved all the members and investigators. However that was enough. Heavenly father had other plans. I got transferred to the nausori area. My new companion is Elder Burge. He is 1 transfer older then me in the mission. This was a good thing. great opportunity to learn! the only problem is We are the zone leaders. This is a crazy change that I didn't expect but I'm aware that Heaven Father qualifies those he calls. fingers crossed! Sorry for a short email. I love you all. Keep drivin Mom, These are the pictures from navua if you will put them on the blog  1. this is brother singh.  2. Sister maya!  3.Me and ...

New Zone Leader Letter from President Higgins- 2015757@LDSChurch.org

11 February 2020 Dear Elder Swallow, Thank you for accepting the assignment to serve as a Zone Leader for the Korovou Zone. I am grateful that your work to this point has qualified you for such an important leadership role in the Mission. You have developed the qualities of faith, obedience, diligence, and charity. You in turn can help others develop these virtues. This call represents a significant trust in you. Your sphere of influence has been expanded. We trust you to be the type of influence the Savior needs you to be. You have responsibility for missionaries who have dedicated up to two years of their lives to serving the Lord. You can help them make the most of this service. Lead by example, by instruction, and when necessary, by Christ-like correction. I have attached a list of Zone Leader responsibilities. Please review them and consider how you and your companion will apply them in your zone. D&C 121:34-46 contains excellent advice fo...

This week was one of the best weeks on my mission. We and heaps of great stuff happen this week! So many great lessons and meeting with such great people. However the highlight of the week was going to Bega.  Beqa is an island that is part of the Navua area...and that's my area. The church has been out there for a little bit (7-8 years). The only problem is that the chief of the village has said only the Methodist church can  be there. No other churches and missionaries allowed. So it's not the easiest place. However we don't need easy we just need possible and the lord will do the rest. So the church did all the traditional ways to ask to have the church there and they allowed it, however we cant openly proselyte there. If there is a person who wants to know more they have to come to the house were the elders stay. way cool and very humbling experience. While we were on the island we met Rela she is married to a member and has been ...

This was a really good week in navua. As Most of you know this week was my birthday this last week Wednesday. 20 years of Growth but most of it spiritual (rip)! It was a way good birth week, It was a really weird feeling knowing I'm far away from home, but not really worrying about it. Because we have Heavenly Father's promise that if we are exactly obedient. Our families will be blessed on both sides of the ocean. This week was a great example of that!  This week we started with a way fun p-day where my companion went fishing and i went straight lamanite and started making spear to throw at the fish because my patience for fishing is dismal. We caught one fish. and it was way cool! because i was talking to an older couple and while i was talking to them Elder smith caught a fish. and we gave it to them. then we didn't catch anything else so even fishing we see God's hand! way fun tender mercies... then we just went aroun...
