BEQA.

This week was one of the best weeks on my mission. We and heaps of great stuff happen this week! So many great lessons and meeting with such great people. However the highlight of the week was going to Bega.
Beqa is an island that is part of the Navua area...and that's my area. The church has been out there for a little bit (7-8 years). The only problem is that the chief of the village has said only the Methodist church can  be there. No other churches and missionaries allowed. So it's not the easiest place. However we don't need easy we just need possible and the lord will do the rest. So the church did all the traditional ways to ask to have the church there and they allowed it, however we cant openly proselyte there. If there is a person who wants to know more they have to come to the house were the elders stay. way cool and very humbling experience. While we were on the island we met Rela she is married to a member and has been coming to church. However the elders haven't been out there in like 6 months so they haven't been able to to anything just at a stalemate. But we were able to go help Beqa unit. Rela was so prepared we decided to do her interview as well and that meant our zone leaders got to come out to the island as well! It was elda tautu and Gwilliam (me and elda tautu came to fiji together).  It was a blast and dope as! we played volleyball,  bathed in the river, and last and best we watched a fire dance and it was way way sick!
Then we came back to real life it was dope. We had way good lessons with our people. The one I want to share is about Maya. As you remember Mayas is the Indian lady that just converted from Hinduism. She was being shy and didn't want to pray. But in a very spirit filled moment. I explained how to pray. the only crazy thing was I explained how to pray in HINDI! and then asked if god was here what would you say to him? and she shared and then I asked her to pray again, And she did! It was the best prayer I've ever heard! and i realized That i was needed in that situation for her. Only I could have helped Maya in that situation. and that was a great and inspiring moment. the rest of the week was good. President Higgins came to our ward. and there were heaps of people. so that was lucky! I love you all and I hope you have a great week
Love, Elda Tilo

It has been the shortest but sweetest stay with you here in navua. We would just like to thank you for all that you do for the people here in Fiji and especially this blessed land here in Navua where missionaries just go trunky....lol...
