Happy Birthday From 2019

Sorry i'm Never good enough but i'm certainly am trying and I love all of you very much! I hope you know that. so in an effort to start fresh. Here we go. to those not on this email please share to them.

Dad-with out you pops i wouldn't be here. not only physically but spiritually. I know that i never picked up a bucket or filled the chicken water. But you taught me how to work. And that not only blessings me but also the whole of Fiji! There is no one i look up to more and I hope that one day you'll be as proud of me as i am of you! 

Mom- Issa my birth giver! Every one that i teach and talk to say were did you learn to be so loving and friendly. and that's straight to you momma! I truly learned to love my fellow man by watching you every day! The light of Christ truly is within and that has blessed me when times get hard here in the island. I think to my self if my mom can have 7 bad kids in the same class and still come home smiling then I can do this! Also you confused the heck out of my future career but we will figure that out later!

Mitch -As the oldest and in fijian ulumatua (wise) I can honestly say that I agree with the oldest part. not sure about the wise... jokes jokes. I love you because you are the oldest and whether it was watching karate kid in a mostly empty theater or getting dope dragon tattoos together, and also playing softball, i knew you always not only had my back but would always CATCH MY HIGH THROW TO 1 BASE. IN SOFTBALL . I remember the day you left on your mission i had to go to school. but I unknowingly vowed that i would look just like my big brother mitchy! RIP

Emily- I still don't really understand what spell mitch casted to catch you but im grateful nonetheless. Emily I still remember the time you schooled us in wiffle ball. I love you because no matter what, you smiled! and that example that i saw has blessed my life more then you know! 

Tyler- Mitch is the oldest but you will always be my biggest brother! even if you are skinny now. The things i've learned for you tyler can not be counted! From Halo to softball to spike ball. I learned to control my temper and just get real quiet when you were annoying! I learned what service from your example to me. No matter what happened tyler was always only a phone call away. That's something that I will use for the rest of my life. You became more than a brother to me you are truly my friend and I know that you will be there for me. also your mission was a strength to me, because a missionary makes his own success

Chy- Girl why you so skinny. just eat some bread! jokes jokes you'll die... chy you are the most talented that i've seen even if you refuse to teach me the piano. I know that you would tell me straight if I needed an honest opinion to be REAL. and that's what everyone needs! I'll have to learn the piano  this September

Bethy- as the oldest sister i can honestly say that you were like a second mother to me. from when I was a baby to teen to young adult to finally a man. you were always there for me. Either teaching me to sing and get made fun of or walking in the wilderness and taking pictures to make my Instagram freaking sick! you are so so crafty and way cool! your love and support was and is an anchor to my life! I can't wait to go around and make fun of people with you. 

Derek- my island bratha. The world needs to hear your under the breath comments because they are super funny! you are also a crazy good example for doing what it takes to provide for your family. that's the people that we need in this world. I'm glad you are watching out for all those criminals. so that they don't get away. 

Emma- Your cookies are the greatest thing that ive ever had. and i will be eating them the day i come home... but other then your cooking i miss how funny you are. and how much you just love everyone and lift every one up with your smile and life. and no matter what happens you will be there to offer any help. 

Nathan- your Halo game is too strong! supermanPo3 will never die ! also your beard looks like a bear and thats sick! keep up the good work! and your when it gets hard open when letter really helped me and gave me that extra push. 

Lillie- I love you because you are my older sister. and i just sent you and email but you are the person i use the most in my mission for everything whether i plan teach or speak at all i say would lillie be doing this and that's what leads me to do my best! 

Colton- you are the best example to me because everything that you've wanted you've fought and archived and i know that no matter what you will be there to help and to biuld me up! just wait for when i get home and my rugby is way better than yours... halfback! 

And finally Kendra. Kid i love you so so much and the reason i'm here is because somewhere across the big waters there is a K-pop loving weirdo that needs a strong big brother and that kendra is enough for me to run through a brick wall! you are so strong Kendra i hope you know that! Heavenly father needs you and so do I. 

I love you all very very much and im sorry for my short comings. theses are just the short ones i have the rest at my house so i will send them next week ! na nogu matavuvale sa tagi tagi levu. o au sa solia. kua ni tagi yalovosota mada. Be good and Hookem horns.

Noqu yaca. Transferred from the roots to the shrub.

This was a crazy week. I've been transferred. I got transferred from nawaka (the root) to nasinu (the shrub). This was the first time I've been way sad to leave. I learned so much from my family in nawaka. They helped me grow and become the missionary that Heavenly Father needs me to be.  Now I'm in nasinu, right next to Suva. My companion is Elda Harding from Niue. It's going to be a really good transfer. I want to share a story that really touched my heart this last week. We found out that I was leaving on Tuesday and left Wednesday. So didn't have a lot of time to say good bye. The first house I went to say goodbye to was the pregnant lady I talked about last week. When we got there we found out that she had giving birth on Monday. We came and met her and found out that she named her  Danele...that's my name! (if you know the movie line you win.) Nausori for the win

This was a great week here in Fiji I hope you all had a great week as well. This week we had three of our family members enter the water of baptism on Saturday. It was the best ending to a great week!  We had so much stuff happen this week. On Thursday this week we had the opportunity to help an elderly lady in our ward. She had us "fix" her floor with reused boards and gave us one hammer and a broken shovel to do it. it was super funny and just started the fun. The next day we had exchanged with the AP's and it was way fun because both of the AP's are from my intake! so we've known each other since the MTC.  I had the opportunity to go with elder madsen and it was super fun! we went and did a lot of teaching and elder madsen is a Hindi elder so that means every fijian we teach i would take the lead. It was such a good experience to realize that Nomatter who or where we are teaching the gospel does not change! I lear...
