This week was so fast!
It legit feels like i just emailed. Fast Sunday was way
better then I thought it would be. It was good because I had stuff to fast for.
Our district leader on the other hand tested our patience. He's been on a power trip and kept us locked in the room for 4 hours. But me and elder Omae had good discussion, and then I took a two hour nap with my scriptures open. So all in all a really good day.
This week we've been translating more sentences and trying to speak Fijian. We have our first TRC tonight. I'm nervous for it only because its our first. It's been really good.
I started the Book of Mormon again just so I can say I did and it's crazy how much I'm getting out of it! Its like I'm a missionary or something! We have been playing a lot of volley ball with the other branches and I'm happy to report that Fiji is still number one. But following that game however bad stuff.
So our Fijian class is split into two districts and Elder Tautu is the district leader for not my district. My district leader is Elder Ostler hes really cool and knows his stuff, but there is a fine line between being obedient and being ridiculous. He called a branch meeting and told us basically that we are sinning. because we keep score in volley ball and don't include everyone while playing volley ball. He also told us that there is no talking in our room after 9:45 (quiet time) its quiet time not silent time. His yalos is in the right place however; the power of district leader I think went to his head it's all good he's doing his best but he's out to get baptisms I'm here to save lives.
The elders on our floor are leaving this Tuesday and I should have never talked to them cause now I'm going to miss them... we sing greatest showman songs and laugh and tell stories. Elder Day from Delta told me on my first Sunday that it's ok to miss my family. But to remember that I'm leaving my family for 2 years so that the families I teach can be together for eternity. That's what I'm going to tell myself every pday until I come back.
this week we got the music to Peace in Christ and sing it all the time and lots of the elders have said my voice sounds good. Who knew! Not me because I'm so shadowed by the girls! I could have been famous!!!!! I can't wait for general conference! There has been some crazy rumors going around the MTC... the prophet means so much more to me now that he has sent me on an actual mission. Have you thought about that! The leader of our church sent tiny me to serve a mission. I'm like a secret agent but instead of secret I wear a name tag and instead of assassinating people I save them forever! Au lomani iko. I pray for you guys everyday! I'm doing well, feeling strong we went to the weight room and I'm happy to report I'm the strongest in my district!
