The MTC is Oti!

Dear Friends and family, 

Sorry I haven't sent an email out to you guys yet. I just knew you want pictures of Fiji not Provo! The MTC has been a great experience! I have grown a lot! Spiritually... I'm still itty bitty. However I do know more Fijian then I did about a month ago so that's good news! I can't wait to be culturally slapped in the face when I get off the plane!  I fly out to Fiji Monday night and I'll get there Wednesday morning, super long flight! 

 The MTC was a great stepping stone for my life! It was something that I will keep with me through out my whole mission! I was blessed with a great companion and an even better district! I know hard times will come but for right now my mission has been great! I can't wait to be pushed and tried. Because I know the Lord doesn't give us challenges that we can't over come! I love all of you guys so much! Thank you for all the love and support! next email will be from Fiji

So here is what's going on! I'm leaving winter to go to Fiji! boom. So my travel plans are this! I check out of the MTC at 2:15 and my flight to LA doesn't leave till 7:20 so I will call then and then I land in LA at 8:40, and I then fly to Fiji at 11:20 on the 29 and I don't land in Fiji till like 6 am on the the 31st. Longest flight of my life! jokes.  I'll call in LA and in Salt Lake! 

So yeah we had a good and fast week.  Sundays still suck and my district leader is a crazy guy but I'm making the most of the last week I've learned a ton and our last TRC was really good! I can't wait to go poop my pants on a tropical island! oh we also had a devotional by Elder Sorres of the 12.  It was great do I remember what he said...nope, but I wrote it down!

 Love you all very much! Be good, keep those people in Fiji in your prayers  as my plalangi butt is headed to Viti! Now I have to go write a bigger email so that I don't have too in Fiji! love you guys thanks for your support and love! sorry no pictures this week! I'll be better in Viti!

Noqu yaca. Transferred from the roots to the shrub.

This was a crazy week. I've been transferred. I got transferred from nawaka (the root) to nasinu (the shrub). This was the first time I've been way sad to leave. I learned so much from my family in nawaka. They helped me grow and become the missionary that Heavenly Father needs me to be.  Now I'm in nasinu, right next to Suva. My companion is Elda Harding from Niue. It's going to be a really good transfer. I want to share a story that really touched my heart this last week. We found out that I was leaving on Tuesday and left Wednesday. So didn't have a lot of time to say good bye. The first house I went to say goodbye to was the pregnant lady I talked about last week. When we got there we found out that she had giving birth on Monday. We came and met her and found out that she named her  Danele...that's my name! (if you know the movie line you win.) Nausori for the win

This was a great week here in Fiji I hope you all had a great week as well. This week we had three of our family members enter the water of baptism on Saturday. It was the best ending to a great week!  We had so much stuff happen this week. On Thursday this week we had the opportunity to help an elderly lady in our ward. She had us "fix" her floor with reused boards and gave us one hammer and a broken shovel to do it. it was super funny and just started the fun. The next day we had exchanged with the AP's and it was way fun because both of the AP's are from my intake! so we've known each other since the MTC.  I had the opportunity to go with elder madsen and it was super fun! we went and did a lot of teaching and elder madsen is a Hindi elder so that means every fijian we teach i would take the lead.
