Not sure where I left off?-- March 17, 2019

Mauri Tariu ao mainu.

As to the title, it is freaking true. I have absolutely no idea where to start. The past couple of weeks have been a crazy time. I just want to preface by saying I'm very happy, healthy, and wicked handsome. also super freaking short. However that doesn't effect my missionary work at all.

Elder Giles was getting ready to leave Rabi so I did a lot of fun stuff in preparations for him leaving. We did not do much for missionary work, but a lot of cool stuff. we started but going up to Koro Tabu which is a place where the last Fijians on Rabi ate people. Yeah; ate people so we hike into the mountains climbed up a  20 foot rock wall and come to a cave full of bones...lit. like straight up people bones and 1/2 a skull. freaking crazy... super scary but I'm way happy that I went!

The next week we went fishing with Totitera where we ride around in  a boat with fishing line and our hands no rods. We rode in a boat for like 5 hours and I caught 3 big tuna, with only my hands... crazy!! I asked to catch a shark and he said next time, stay tuned.

We have picked up the work.  In fact, the past 2 weeks the work has taking a huge jump and we are getting things done on my island. The biggest thing is that I have a new companion, Elder Hae Hae. He came in two weeks ago and just like me he doesn't know any Kirabati. However; I didn't really have time to worry about it because I was to relived to have a new companion.

Me and elder Giles were together for 3 transfers, 3! That's 4 1/2 months, that's way too long to be with one person. Then put us on an island where we don't see other missionaries and it makes for a long first 6 months of my mission... but its all behind us.

When we got to Rabi I was really nervous about how it would go language wise, and I was pleasantly surprised that the gift of tongues is real and very present in my missionary work.We have a lot of really good people. Most of our investigators are teenage girls, however we teach who will listen. Thank you parents for nice blue eyes that keep the people in Rabi transfixed and hopefully; learning the gospel. We have a lot of good progressing people and more on the way.

Thanks very much to my family and my friends who are praying for me I feel it,and I'm happy to say that it is working. Love you all be good stay strong.

Tiapo mai Rabi. So sorry for no pictures the computers are pretty dumb my bad I love you guys.
