Long Time No Email- 2-3-19

Really its not my fault I just do what I'm told. On Rabi we don't have a computer so we can't email or get any mail. and its a real struggle like straight up. But fear not, I'm still here and wearing a skirt...

This was a big transfer for me. Ending my training and turning 19 just for a few big points. It was a really big transfer, we are getting things rolling on my island. We have lots of people we go teach. And I hate to toot my own horn, but I'm very grateful that the Lord gave me the gift of being a chatter box and an out going personality. Because the members of our small branch are starting to help us more because they trust us to work and just go! So slowly we get our branch to grow.

As before mentioned I'm am now 19, so no longer a baby! I was lucky to receive my birthday and Christmas packages on my birthday so that was lit!  I'm set with my fishing pole and solar chargers  (thank you my wise parental unit), however there was a horrible thing that happened... a kid on Rabi was taking pictures on my camera and started clicking buttons and deleted all of my pictures... way sad but trials are part of the mission... its hard to remember all that happens due to no pictures...

So I'll just tell one miracle that was crazy cool. while in my week 11, in training it means you are in charge for that week, Elder Giles was getting a hair cut and I was waiting out side the shop, and a Fijian guy comes up on a bike. in Rabi it's a rare occasion the see a Fijian. and we stated to talk in English. I gave him an English and Kirabati Book of Mormon so he could learn Kirabati. While in our first lesson about the Book of Mormon. Elder Giles took over and I didn't get in one word, frustrating but I just let him go and trusted in the Lord, as usual. After he had finished his rant I shared my testimony about the book, and he told us he believed all I had said and wanted to be baptized!! It was freaking crazy! he was way prepared for us. now we can see what will happen fingers crossed.

At the end of the transfer I found out that me and Elder Giles were staying on island. Kinda disappointing because change is not a bad thing. The only change that was made is that I am the senior companion. weird.. Anyway I'm doing great and I'm happy to be in Fiji not snow! I love you all! Feel free to email me, I won't respond quick but I'll respond! Thank you for all the prayers, keep them coming my family on Rabi needs all the help we can get!
Love, Elder Swallow
